Laser Lipolysis
SmartLipo™ is a laser liposuction procedure that was approved by the FDA in November of 2006. SmartLipo™ is the quickest, safest, gentlest, way to remove unwanted fat deposits, and unlike traditional liposuction SmartLipo™ tightens and firms the surrounding skin.
While we do not perform body surgery here at Rejuvenis, we do specialize in laser procedures specific to the face and skin. This revolutionary dual wavelength laser energy is applied under the skin through a 1.5 mm opening in the skin to melt fat and tighten the skin. So, we are proud to be one of the early and relatively few SmartLipo™ practitioners in the country, and the only practice in downstate Illinois.
Almost anyone can be a good candidate for SmartLipo™. In general, the ideal candidate is in good health, exercises regularly and is within 25 pounds of his or her ideal weight; has one or more areas of local body fat deposits that have responded poorly to diet and exercise;
and is bothered by these fatty areas enough to be motivated to get rid of them permanently.
