Endoscopic Facial Surgery

This describes the surgical approach, not a “surgical procedure”. Endoscopy is applicable to a number of different facial procedures that are performed in a minimally invasive way by making small incisions and introducing an endoscope or surgical telescope with an attached TV camera under the skin. Areas remote from the incision could then be operated on while being magnified and visualized very well on a TV monitor. This has the most application in our practice in treatment of the forehead and sometimes the mid-face. When performing an endoscopic forehead lift, we utilize the EndotineT dissolvable suspension device so that no permanent hardware is left under the skin.
